The history of The Dungeon changed forever in 2022. The Dungeon was opened many years ago, but in the summer of 2022, it was going to be sold. Jake, who was a bartender in The Dungeon at that moment, decide to take the leap and go for it. Laurie, also a bartender and co-worker of Jake, had gotten wind of that and mentioned that she might be interested in partnering with Jake if he would be. After some talking, it was decided that both of them would go in as co-owners of the bar.

Finally on October 1st, Jake and Laurie took over of the business to continue the legacy and offer an improved version of The Dungeon, a true hotspot of Dubuque.
